This page explains what Unmarker collects from visitors of unmarker.io before launch, why, and how to exercise your rights. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
Who is responsible
The data controller is STRATINET SARL, registered in Cannes, France (RCS Cannes 944 837 871), publisher of unmarker.io. Contact: contact@alexandrefuchs.fr.
The early-access list
When you submit the early-access form, we store your email address, the optional use case you selected, the page you signed up from and the date. Legal basis: your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Purpose: sending you one confirmation email now, and one email when your access batch opens. We do not send newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone. Retention: until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete you, whichever comes first. To be removed, reply to any of our emails or write to the address above; we delete within 7 days.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted instance of Umami, an open-source, cookie-free analytics tool. It records page views and the "early access" event with no personal identifier: no cookie, no fingerprint, IP address truncated before storage. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing identifies you. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tag managers.
Fonts and third parties
The page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request to Google's servers when the page loads (your IP address is transmitted for that request). No other third-party resource is loaded. The early-access form posts to an API operated by STRATINET SARL on European servers.
The product itself (when it launches)
Unmarker will process the texts you submit solely to produce your rewrite and the associated scores. Texts are transmitted over TLS, processed, and deleted from our servers within 24 hours. They are not used to train models and are not read by humans except at your request for support. A full product privacy policy will replace this section at launch and will be sent to the early-access list before it applies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access, rectify, erase or export the data we hold about you, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL). Write to contact@alexandrefuchs.fr; we answer within 30 days.
Changes
This page was published on August 15, 2026. If it changes materially before launch, the date above will be updated and the early-access list will be told in the launch email.
